Buy My CDS!

I have TWO CDs now available for purchase!

If you are old school and like to have a physical copy of CDs, you can visit my sales page at kunaki.com here. Kunaki is a great company that I have used to professionally produce these two CD. You'll have it delivered to you promptly.

If you just want the mp3 files for your music player, you can purchase the entire CD or any songs you like on iTunes. Just search gabriela frei and you'll find me!

My first CD is all original music, except the Ave Maria (by Franz Schubert). God has been so faithful in guiding me along my faith journey, my walk with him and towards him. These songs are the fruit borne of years of suffering and joy, challenge and surrender, failure and success. Be blessed!

The entire playlist is as follows:
1+ Fiat
2+ Present Moment
3+ Transfigure
4+ He Is Come (my Christmas song)
5+ Surrender
6+ Let Me Live (my prolife song)
7+ Leap of Faith (brand new recording!)
8+ What Love is This/Peace In Jesus (brand new recording!)
9+ Love Song (brand new recording!)
Bonus+ Ave Maria  (Schubert)

I am blessed to be able to share with you a piece of my heart through this album, a glimpse into my spiritual journey with the Lord. I pray it is a blessing for you as well.

My second CD is loaded with traditional Marian hymns. We are so blessed to have such a lovely example of holiness and surrender in Mary. While my first CD gives praise to the Lord for all the good things he has done for me, this CD honors Mary as the pure vessel through whom God was born to the world. Her yes is to be our example. Her life is that of the perfect follower of Jesus. Her love guides us gently to the heart of her son.

The entire playlist is as follows:
1+ Ave Maria (Schubert)
2+ Hail Holy Queen (Traditional Hymn)
3+ Ave Maria (Bach/Gounod)
4+ Immaculate Mary (Traditional Hymn)
5+ Lullaby (Mary's Prayer) - this is one of my original songs
6+ Salve Regina (Traditional Hymn)

All glory be to God, forever and ever Amen.

Paid Commission

So I feel like I've arrived as a musician: I've been paid to write music to accompany someone else's lyrics. It was a pleasure to work with Dr. Carmine Macedonio of St. Andrew's Parish in Cape Coral.

I was commissioned to write a light, catchy melody to go along with his lyrics, intended for CCD classes for 5th/6th graders. It was really a fun challenge, to work with someone else's words. Usually, I have an organic system for writing music. I compose the lyrics and melody as a cohesive whole. So the challenge of writing a melody apart from the process of composing the words was a new effort for me. And I was very happy with the product.

You can listen to the full track by clicking on the title "We Love To Sing," found in my audio player on the right side of this site. Enjoy this first of hopefully many collaborated efforts!

 To God be the glory.

News

I wanted to share about my experiences leading the music for the Women of Faith, Women of Action conference held here in Fort Myers on February 20th.

It was a real blessing and an honor to be a part of this event. Over 350 women were in attendance, to listen to the keynote speaker, Helen Alvare, as well as Father Miguel Gonzales and Cristina Martinez, and attend Mass with Bishop Frank Dewayne.

What a line-up. And then there was me.
I led a time of praise and worship, asking the women to join me in singing Shout To The Lord. I then spoke a bit about my ministry in music, my growth as a songwriter, a few of my favorite songs, and then was blessed to play Transfigure (which you can listen to here at gabrielafrei.com as well as watch the music video).

Later in the afternoon, I played and sang Go Light Your World as women holding candles processed throughout the theater. It was a beautiful moment, and a poignant reminder that we are Christ's hands and feet to our brothers and sisters, His light to the world.

I also had a tremendous opportunity to spread the word about my own music ministry and sell CDs. I was so excited to offer these women a brand new, hot-off-the-presses CD, which even included a cover of Go Light Your World. I literally finished recording and producing this CD the night before the conference! But it was worth the effort to have a CD that I could proudly offer. I thank God for His faithfulness in providing opportunities. Now I will wait patiently, til the next opportunity arises. May His glory be fulfilled and accomplished.

NEW CD!

At last, at last, at last!!!

Since I graduated from high school, I've been selling and/or giving out copies of a CD that I recorded that summer before college. I was never 100% happy with it, and always yearned for the time/$$$ to record a new one that I could really be proud of.

HERE IT IS.
With new and improved recordings of Fiat, Let Me Live, Transfigure, and other favorites, I present to you my new CD: Let It Be Done Unto Me.

I am so proud of this new CD. My wonderful husband Jonathan got me a terrific digital piano for my birthday/Christmas this past year, and is it ever awesome! It's a Kawai ES1, and I couldn't be happier with it. Best of all, I can hook it up to my computer, along with a microphone, and voila: a new CD recorded in under a week, just in time for the Women of Faith, Women of Action conference. At which I sold a LOT of CDs!

If you would like to order a copy of this new CD, sample the songs here on my website, then contact me and I'll be happy to get you a copy.
